Compact felt: a material with high acoustic and environmental performance
Compact felt is a high-performance acoustic material, designed to combine phonetic efficiency with environmental responsibility. It is made from recycled polyester fibers (PES) derived from post-consumer waste, and processed through a hot calendering process without the addition of chemical binders or surface treatments. This technique gives the material a dense, uniform structure, ensuring optimal longevity and high mechanical resistance, while preserving a soft and warm textile appearance.

Acoustic performance
Thanks to its compact microfiber structure, the felt allows for very efficient sound absorption, especially in the mid and high frequencies (500 to 2000 Hz), which are often the source of reverberation in indoor environments. Depending on configurations and thicknesses, it can achieve high absorption coefficients (αw), meeting the requirements of acoustic standards in public buildings, office spaces, or residential areas.
Environmental Performance
Compact felt is part of an eco-design approach:
• High content of recycled raw materials,
• Production without adhesives or harmful additives,
• 100% recyclable product at the end of its life cycle,
• Low carbon footprint across the entire life cycle.

Applications
Available as wall-mounted acoustic panels, suspensions, or partition elements, compact felt offers great design flexibility. It adapts to the aesthetic and technical requirements of architectural projects while ensuring effective, lightweight, and durable acoustic treatment.
